HAPPY NEW YEAR MODELS!!!
As we begin the new year, we are asking all models to write down their goals for modeling in 2009. As an example, recently a model said that she would like to be in Bridal Magazines. I asked her to provide me with the names of the Bridal Magazines she would like to be in and their contact numbers. As an agency we don't assume that all models want the same things. We want to better serve our models by providing them with the kind of jobs they really want. I'd like all models to write their goals out and send a copy to our agency and keep a copy for themselves so they can focus on their goals for the year. Also, we want to be more pro-active this year. We are contacting all businesses that might need a model for advertisements to encourage them that even though the economy is bad, this is a great time to advertise. It's so important for their business to be seen by the public. We are also asking all models, if they know of any new businesses that should be contacted to let us know. We are also implementing our Referral program again this year, where any business or model referral that uses our services, the model that referred them will receive a commission.
IS YOUR WEB SITE PHOTO CURRENT?
All models who have a photo on the web site that is over 1 year old, must update their photo. We will start deleting photos in March. Please have your new photo in by the end of February. Our "Model of the Month" will only feature current model photos. If you don't have a photo on our web site, you will not be represented.
MADELINE'S MODELS FEATURED IN CHICAGO FASHION SHOW
On Saturday, September 27, 2008 Madeline's Models will hit the runway for a Fashion Show and Luncheon sponsored by the Alpha Eta Chapter, Inc. The fashion show will feature fashions provided by Mildred's Boutique of Battle Creek, Day Furs of Grand Rapids, MI and a few other vendors. The models will arrive in style in a chauffeured Limousine. Twelve models from our agency will be featured in the fashion show. Photos from the show will be featured in our October Agency Newsletter.
AUDITIONS FOR MODEL TROUPE
Madeline's Modeling Agency will be holding auditions for our upcoming Model Troupe. The auditions are schedule for October, the exact date and time will be in our September Newsletter. Models, please work on perfecting your modeling skills so you can be one of the models in our Model Troupe.
MADELINE'S MODELS IN MAX 10 COMMERCIALS!
You may have heard a familiar voice or seen a familiar face in those Max 10 commercials as our models have been featured on various commercials since June 2008. We are also getting request for models to do various promotions for the fall season. We ask all models to keep in touch with the agency and make sure you are on the web site with an updated photo.
TANYA HUTCHISON WINS "SHE'S GOT THE LOOK"
Tanya Hutchison who began her modeling career at Madeline's Modeling Agency won the 2008 reality show "She's Got The Look". Tanya, 45, won the competition on the TV Land channel on July 10, 2008. Tanya is such an inspiration to all models, especially models 40 & up. Tanya, who lives in California, will be back in Kalamazoo for WMU's Homecoming in October.
