ETIQUETTE PROGRAMS BY P.L.O.T.
(Preparing Leaders Of Tomorrow)

Hello, My name is Madeline L. Zackery, the Founder and Director of P.L.O.T.
I have been teaching etiquette and social graces for over 40 years.  My Husband, John Zackery and I have provided etiquette seminars for Colleges, Public Schools, Organizations, Churches, Businesses and individuals.  P.L.O.T. programs will increase  self- confidence in your child by as we work with them on , poise, social graces, conversation, valuable people skills  and character development.

It’s important to understand what children are facing. As they are growing from early childhood to adolescence children face an onslaught of new and unfamiliar social experiences and the expectations placed on them in these situations change as they grow older. Sometimes Parents worry about this transition and how their child will conduct them selves. Will they display good manners?  Not just to appease the other person but to build strong relationships and display integrity.

P.L.O.T. covers a variety of social situations to give children the information they need to function with good manners in these circumstances.  Areas addressed include greeting people,  talking on the phone, saying “thank you”, apologizing, giving compliments, not talking behind someone’s back and many others. These social manners are a bit more challenging for children to develop then using the correct fork.  It requires the ability to appreciate others, hold frustrations, display humility and have confidence in themselves.  However, the rewards from spending the time to learn and experience these skills will be of great benefit to your child throughout life.
P.L.O.T  teaches  people skills and properly presenting yourself.  This skill development helps children build better relationships with fellow students as well as educators and ultimately helps them build self-confidence to succeed in school.   It provides a plan for accomplishing goals, resisting peer pressure and having a good attitude.  This skill and character development will help them deal more efficiently with the social pressures and academic challenges that may come their way.
